How about some points about when couponing isn't good such as a store brand may be cheaper than a brand label that is on sale and with a coupon. Coupons are often offered on items that aren't necessities.

My friend's husband does the shopping and loves to brag about the coupons he uses, but their cupboards are filled with many items they don't need and aren't good for them.

Best FREE budgeting tool / web-based software:
www.mint.com

Also, when switching insurance policies, make sure you switch all your coverages to the new insurer, therefore qualifying for multiple line discounts and additional savings. To select reputable insurance companies, do not chose who you watch on TV, but do some homework and go here:

Here are a couple of websites I can't live without anymore:

www.Aisle19.com
Great shopping / rebate site that works with almost all companies we buy products from daily.

www.restaurant.com
Save big on going out to restaurants you already visit on a regular basis. Couponmom.com lists coupons or codes for restaurant.com on a weekly basis, letting you get a $10.00 certificate for as little as $0.80, instead of 4 bucks!!!

Things I do to save money:

-Take my ziploc bags turn them inside out, wash them, and reuse them.

-Sign up for free samples of shampoo, and other regularly used items, so that I don't have to buy a new bottle right away.

-Use a rewards credit card on everything that I have no possibility of overspending on (and pay it off every month). Just to collect the rewards points.

This could go on for pages and pages so I will stop there.

For coupon shopping I've also started visiting www.southernsavers.com on a daily basis. She does a very good job in keeping up with sales, deals, free stuff, and just about everything that makes coupon shopping exciting.
