It is the last day of the month and you know what that means …
It is time to prepare your budget for FEBRUARY!
Here are some great things to consider for this month:
- If you are expecting to receive a tax refund, be sure to use the Mini-Budget to plan that money also!
- Be sure to review your Known, Upcoming Non-Monthly Expenses to ensure you are not going to be caught off-guard by a surprise expense (like vacation, property taxes, or a car repair)
- Review January’s budget to see if you accomplished everything you planned
Get fired up!

Thanks for the reminder ! I have been using your tools for budgeting for 3 years now. It has been a wonderful thing! Such freedom in creating and following a budget! It is not always easy to do the following part but your emails help get me “fired up” to stay on track! The tax bill came this year and thanks to your tips for planning for known upcoming non-monthly expenses all I had to do was write the check and mail! Thank you!

Thanks to your talks at Piedmont on Sunday, we’re hard at work on our first real budget. It felt weird to take a load of cash out of the bank (for various budget envelopes) in an effort to save money, but it should work out great. We’re excited!
Found out a couple of weeks ago that I have about 4 Grand in dental work that needs done (multiple crowns to fix some very old, very big fillings). Thanks to your budget forms, what would have been a disaster is now a speed bump (albeit, a rather large one!) on our road to financial freedom. Thanks for all you do!
