“Boo Hoo Moments” versus “IHHE Moments”

Many of you are familiar with my use of “IHHE Moments” – I Have Had Enough Moments.

These are moments when you really have had enough, and things change.

However, I see a lot of people who are confused.   They believe that they have had an “IHHE Moment”, but really they have just had a “Boo Hoo Moment”.

Here are some examples of “Boo Hoo Moments”:

  • Cry over debt situation but continue to use the credit cards
  • Frustrated by poor credit but do not address old/bad debt
  • Sad that the bills are not being paid on time but they are not planning their spending
  • Sob about the broken down car but no money is in the savings account

These are “Boo Hoo Moments” – they are sad about the issues, but are not willing or do not know how to make the changes necessary.

I’ve heard it said this way:   “When the pain of same exceeds the pain of change – that’s when we change.”

Are you having “Boo Hoo Moments” in your life or “IHHE Moments”?

This is a great post! And soooo true. I have had the BHM in my life too.

I think that the BIG diff is…. Are you just sad? or Are sad enough to get mad?
If you just get sad, well that will pass and you remain the same. but… If you get sad enough to get MAD then you have the will to take action.

So, ask yourself if you are sad, are you sad enough to get MAD?
