I am PUMPED about our first ever Financial Coaching Experience training that we are going to be offering starting in September!  To be considered for this training, it is required that you participate in our on-line information meeting TUESDAY NIGHT (8/31/2010).

The IWBNIN Team is FIRED UP about the opportunity to train Financial Coaches on-line for the first time ever!  We travel around the nation equipping leaders to become 1-on-1 financial coaches, and it is just EXCITING to have the opportunity to train individuals who we would otherwise have no way of meeting or equipping!

One of the biggest reasons the crusade is able to help people accomplish far more than they ever thought possible is because we have trained Financial Coaches all over the country.  When we partner with a church or organization for a live event, we teach valuable principles and tools that equip people and provide them with hope and inspiration.  But at the end of the day, we have to travel back home.  It is the Financial Coaches we train that provide the ongoing 1-on-1 help and assistance people need for their individual financial situations.  Helping people put together a plan and showing them HOW they can win with their money is the most important thing, and Financial Coaches make it possible.

You might be interested in becoming a financial coach as well, but haven’t had the opportunity to go through our live training.  The reason is usually we either haven’t been to your area or your church hasn’t launched a financial ministry yet.  It might be that your church has been waiting for someone like you to step up and start the financial ministry.

I am sitting in Starbucks in Fishers, IN right now as our team prepares to spend a great weekend with Crosspoint Church (Pastor Curt Walters).  Crosspoint Church is about three years old and the entire church is passionate about reaching their community.  This weekend, we will be training financial coaches, I will be speaking during the Sunday morning messages (9AM and 10:30AM) and then teaching the Financial Learning Experience following the 10:30AM service.

It is a full schedule, and we love it!  Can’t believe we get to partner with such great churches and businesses to equip people to accomplish far more than they ever thought possible!

I was excited to be able to speak to a class at Tri-County Technical College last week and a class at Westside High School the week before!  I used materials from my latest book, What Everyone Should Know About Money Before They Enter The Real World.  It is our team’s passion to equip young people with practical tools and training that allows them to maximize their financial potential and avoid making financial mistakes.  At Westside, I was also able to talk about the importance of continual learning.  It was a joy to be able to speak to such a great group of young people!

The I Was Broke. Now I’m Not. Team is headed to Alexandria, KY this weekend for another weekend of life-change!  We will be at Main Street Baptist Church (Pastor Bob Franklin) to train financial coaches on Saturday.  I will be speaking during the 9:30AM and 11:00AM services.  I will then have the opportunity to teach the Financial Learning Experience on Sunday afternoon at 3PM.  If you are in the area, we would love to have you join us!

The I Was Broke. Now I’m Not. team had a GREAT time this weekend at Colwood Church (Pastor Jonathan Herron) in Caro, MI!  We were able to train four financial coaches/counselors, speak during both morning services, teach the Financial Learning Experience to the adults and What Everyone Should Know About Money Before They Enter THE REAL WORLD to the youth.  What an amazing response we had!  I am so dumbfounded that we get to do this life-changing work for a living!!!
