HULU.com = Cheap Entertainment
About six months ago, AVCLUB introduced me to Hulu.com.
Hulu.com is a HUGE database of movies and TV shows (past and present) that you can watch for FREE!
You will have to watch a couple of commercials during the shows, but it is FREE!
If you have a high-speed internet connection, check it out!
I am sure that The Saving Freak is proud of me for this money saving tip!

Slacker.com is also great. Although they have a paid version, the free version will suit mostly everyone’s needs. Even with the paid version, it only runs $7.50 per month which to me would be a very wise decision since you can pick which songs you want to play.
I had heard of Hulu earlier but never bothered to try it. Then two days ago I created an account and I must say I love it.
While the selection is still a bit limited I think it is a great idea. I also got to see that they have Sliders, which is a series I have not seen in years.
You get me a dedicated Hulu-box that will play it composite video right into my TV and we’ve got a sure fire winner. Right now the limitation of computer-only still his this on novelty status for me. A very very cool novelty, but not truly a TV replacement just yet.
But I’m patient.
